Abstract

This research is Classroom Action Research (Classroom Action Research) which aims to find out the increase in Physics Learning Outcomes after applying the Problem Based Learning Model through the guided group discussion method by Peer Tutors. This research was carried out in two cycles consisting of four activities, namely: planning, implementing actions, observing, and reflecting. Cycle I and cycle II were held for 4 meetings. The collection of data on learning outcomes is carried out using observation sheets during the learning process and final learning tests at the end of cycle I and the end of cycle II. The collected data were analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results of the quantitative analysis of physics learning outcomes data showed that the number of students who completed their studies in cycle I was 13 people or 46.43% and cycle II was 24 people or 85%. The results of the qualitative analysis showed that there was a significant increase in the learning outcomes of class XI SMA Disamakan Makassar. Based on the results of this study it can be concluded that learning physics with the Problem Based Learning Model by Peer Tutors can improve student learning outcomes.
