Abstract
Educational games more interesting if given an artificial intelligence. One of the artificial intelligence algorithms that can be applied to this game is Learning Vector Quantization (LVQ). LVQ is an intelligent algorithm that can be implemented in games because LVQ can produce the desired classification. In this study, researcher created an educational game for learning Arabic Vocabulary using the LVQ algorithm. This algorithm is used to determine the level of when a player playing this game. This is done so that a player can complete the game based on his ability to play. This algorithm is applied to the game based on the value of Skill Points and Health Points. Based on the test results, the LVQ algorithm can be applied in Arabic Vocabulary learning games to determine the level of a player's game. The test results show an accuracy value of 80% with 12 accurate data from 15 trial data. Based on these results, the LVQ algorithm can be applied well to Sang Santri game.
