Abstract

This research aims to assess the extent to which the use of Canva, a visual communication platform, impacts students' motivation in social studies learning at SMP IT Nur Hasan. The study employs a quantitative research design with the One-Shot Case Study methodology, and the sample consists of 66 ninth-grade students. The research findings indicate a positive impact of Canva on students' motivation in the context of social studies learning. This conclusion is drawn from regression coefficient analysis using the SPSS statistical software, where the obtained value of 0.032 is less than 0.05, meaning the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected, and the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted. The implications of this research suggest that Canva is an effective teaching and learning tool in the context of ICT and can enhance students' motivation at SMP IT Nur Hasan. These findings highlight the potential use of visual communication platforms like Canva to improve the learning experience and motivation of students in social studies. In conclusion, this research provides evidence that Canva can be a valuable tool in enhancing students' motivation in the social studies learning process at SMP IT Nur Hasan.
