Abstract

Landslides are the process of decreasing soil volume due to water deposits stored in the gaps in the soil due to the prolonged dry season. When the rainy season arrives, water will fill the gaps, causing the soil texture to soften briefly, causing landslides to occur. This research was conducted to determine the layers of slip planes in the Batutongkon tourist area, Battang sub-district as preliminary information on the volume and direction of material movement of landslide material by collecting data on 2 trajectories using the Wenner - Schlumberger configuration geoelectric method. Field data acquisition was analyzed using Microsoft Excel software to obtain apparent resistivity values. The principle of the resistivity method is to flow electric current into the earth through the contact of two current electrodes. Then the resulting potential distribution was measured and then processed using Res2Dinv software which produces 2D subsurface modeling, for 3D results using Microsoft Excel software as a medium for processing field data and continued using the surfer application to produce 3D modeling.
