Abstract

Renah Alai is a small village located in Jangkat Subdistrict, Merangin Regency, directly adjacent to the Kerinci Seblat National Park (TNKS). TNKS is often heard about because this area is an important tropical forest area for the world. In 2004, the area was included in the list of World Heritage Siteas Cluster Mountainous Tropical Rainforest Heritage Site of Sumatra (TFCA-Sumatra, 2016). But unfortunately, Renah Alai is rarely known to the public due to limited information about the state of the area. To demonstrate the existence of Renah Alai, it is necessary to have a mentoring program for village youths in establishing and managing a website in Renah Alai Tourism. Through assistance by providing practices for youth in managing village websites for potential promotion activities of the tourism sector, it is hoped that it will be able to introduce Renah Alai to the public and will later improve the welfare of the local community.
