Abstract

The moral development of early childhood today is very concerning. Most children often disrespect their elders, not appreciating people who are talking, not giving answers according to questions, and often using unkind words. This study aims to instill morals and religion in early childhood. This research is qualitative research, conducted at Baiturrohmah Kindergarten and Childcare, Way Kanan, Lampung. Data was collected through observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The data is then analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The results showed that in instilling morals and religion in early childhood, a) Baiturrohaman Childcare provides explanations to children about love for Allah SWT and a sense of security through creation and enjoyment given to living beings, obligations and prohibitions for fellow creatures, and rewarding; and b) Baiturrohaman Kindergarten conducts ceremonial activities, physical education, kissing and caressing children, repetition in the learning process, and fulfilling children's play needs.
