Abstract

The utilization of plants as food continues to grow and increase with research related to the identification and utilization of plants that have potential as food. The purpose of this research is to record what types of plants are used as food ingredients by the people of Desa Dalam and classify how to use and process food plants as food ingredients by the people of Desa Dalam. The research was conducted in Dalam Village for 1 month effectively in the field. The method used was survey and observation with direct interview techniques. Techniques using purprosive sampling. Based on the results of the study, 36 plants were recorded as food ingredients utilized by the community, with 24 families identified and the dominating family was Anacardiaceae. Based on habitus, trees are the most commonly found habitus, which is as many as 18 species (50%). Based on the plant part used is the fruit part, which is 24 species (66.67%). Based on the most widely used food group is vitamins, namely as many as 16 types (44.44%). Based on the way of processing direct consumption is the most common way found, namely as many as 21 types (58.33%). And based on the status of the place of growth, plants that grow wildly and can be cultivated are most commonly found as many as 21 species (58.33%). The highest use value is water spinach (0.45) and the lowest is pineapple (0.20).Keywords: Food Plants, Plant Utilization, Way of UtilizationAbstrakPemanfaatan tumbuhan sebagai bahan pangan terus berkembang dan meningkat dengan adanya penelitian terkait identifikasi dan pemanfaatan tumbuhan yang berpotensi sebagai bahan pangan. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendata jenis-jenis tumbuhan apa saja yang dimanfaatkan sebagai bahan pangan oleh masyarakat Desa Dalam dan mengelompokkan cara pemanfaatan serta pengolahan tumbuhan pangan sebagai bahan pangan oleh masyarakat Desa Dalam. Penelitian dilaksanakan di Desa Dalam selama 1 bulan efektif dilapangan. Metode yang digunakan adalah survei dan observasi dengan teknik wawancara langsung. Teknik dengan menggunakan purprosive sampling. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian didapatkan 36 tumbuhan yang tercatat sebagai bahan pangan yang dimanfaatkan oleh masyarakat, dengan 24 famili teridentifikasi dan famili yang mendominasi adalah Anacardiaceae. Berdasarkan habitus, pohon merupakan habitus yang paling banyak ditemukan, yaitu sebanyak 18 jenis (50%). Berdasarkan bagian tumbuhan yang digunakan adalah bagian buah, yaitu sebanyak 24 jenis (66,67%). Berdasarkan kelompok pangan yang paling banyak digunakan adalah vitamin, yaitu sebanyak 16 jenis (44,44%). Berdasarkan cara pengolahan konsumsi langsung merupakan cara paling banyak ditemukan, yaitu sebanyak 21 jenis (58,33%). Dan berdasarkan status tempat tumbuh, tumbuhan yang tumbuh secara liar dan dapat dibudidayakan paling banyak ditemukan sebanyak 21 jenis (58,33%).
