Abstract

This study is aimed to give description about the implementation of inclusive education in SDN 03 Alai Padang. The problems encountered in the field are: there is gep between the concept of inclusive education and application in the field, both viewed from the personal aspect of school community and supporting external factors in the implementation of inclusive education in there. Then, the problems are formulated as follow: How is the inclusive education in SD Negeri 03 Alai Padang implemented? The formulation of the problem is then made in three research questions: 1) Haw is the inclusive education implemented? 2) What barriers is faced in the implementation of inclusive education? 3) What the efforts done to overcome the barriers?. The kind of study is descriptive that uses qualitative approach. The subyect of study are community of school and education official. The result of study show the implementation of inclusive education has been yet as expected. The implementation of education in school still oriented on intrgrated education concept. The problems are bureaucracy of managemen, modification of curriculum, teacher, material/pre material and cooperation parents and society. The effort has been done in stages, for example, there are specific counselor teachers, socialization of inclusive education in environment school.
