Abstract

The Research method used was descriptive verification using a quantitative approach in Which the data collection techniques were observation, questionnaires, and documentation. Meanwhile, the data analysis technique was simple linear regression. The research finding depicted that School Field Introduction (PLP-2) had a Positive and significant effect on the pedagogical competence of students at the Department of Economics Education. This was proven by the t-count value of 11.059, which was higher than the t-table value of 2.03011, and the significance value was 0.000 or lower than 0.05. In the mean time, the analysis results of the coefficient of determination indicated that the adjusted coefficient of determination or the R Square value was 0.777 or 77.7%. This value signified that 77.7% of the variability of Pedagogical competence could be explained by the variable of school field introduction (PLP-2). In comparison, the remaining 22.3% could be explained by other variables that were not examined in this research
