Abstract
All papers published in this volume of Journal of Physics: Conference Series have been peer reviewed through processes administered by the Editors. Reviews were conducted by expert referees to the professional and scientific standards expected of a proceedings journal published by IOP Publishing. Type of peer review: Single-blind & Double-blind (please describe) Reviewers’ identities were not revealed to authors. Some papers were sent to reviewers that are also the editorial board members who could access the information of the authors from the system, the identities of the authors were revealed to the reviewers (Single-blind). The rest of the papers who were assigned to other reviewers who are not part of the editorial board went to double-blind review process. The identities of the authors were deleted on the drafts that can be accessed by reviewers. Authors did not know who reviewed their papers and the identities of the authors were not revealed to the reviewers as well. Conference submission management system: Open Conference System (http://conference.unsyiah.ac.id/SEA-STEM/2020) Number of submissions received: 257 Number of submissions sent for review: 234 Number of submissions accepted: 165 Acceptance Rate (Number of Submissions Accepted / Number of Submissions Received X 100): 64.20 Average number of reviews per paper: 2 Total number of reviewers involved: 67 Any additional info on review process: Some papers were rejected after being reviewed by the track directors. This type of papers are those that are out of scope of the conference and those that are very poor in writing quality. Other papers was assigned to two reviewers for each paper, but not all reviewers sent back the papers to the editors. Only 103 papers had been reviewed by two independent reviewers (plus an editor), each of the other 113 papers was reviewed by one independent reviewer and an editor.
