Abstract
Cylinder tricuspid valve replacement was performed on a 6.5-year-old child who suffered from massive valve insufficiency following previous emergency surgery for tricuspid endocarditis and pulmonary embolism. The material used for the realization of the customized graft was photofixed decellularized heterologous pericardium. The postoperative course and the short-term follow-up have been satisfactory and encourage the use of the technique in similar situations even in the pediatric age.
