Abstract
The aim of the article is to provide and introductory description of the pedagogical (education and upbringing) achievements of Janusz Korczak as seen from the perspective of both classical and modern social rehabilitation pedagogy theory and practice. In the scholarly pedagogical literature such an approach to the problem has not occurred so far, therefore this text should be treated as an introduction and invitation to further, in-depth reflections and analyses.
