Abstract

The article proposes a solution to the actual problem of the methodological competence formation of future psychology teachers in the training process in higher educational institutions. Scientific works on the professional and pedagogical competence formation of a teacher were analyzed, it has been determined that methodological competence is its important component. The model of methodological competence of future psychology teachers has been developed and substantiated on the basis of the of stage-by-stage formation of mental actions theory by P. Halperin. Motivational, cognitive, operational, and control-corrective components are identified in the structure of the studied competence. It is proposed to use the developed model as a theoretical basis for determining the pedagogical conditions for the methodological competence formation of future psychology teachers. Based on the analysis of scientific works, the essence of the "pedagogical conditions" concept and its properties are determined. Based on the structure of the methodological competence of future psychology teachers, pedagogical conditions for its formation among master students of specialty 053 "Psychology" are proposed. The first condition is the systematic use of stimulating methods and motivating educational and cognitive activity in the process of methodological training of future psychology teachers. The second pedagogical condition involves updating the content of the methodological training of future psychology teachers on the basis of a competence-based approach. The third condition is aimed at the systematic use of didactic design tools in the process of methodological training of future psychology teachers. The last pedagogical condition assumes the use of a project-based approach in organizing the pedagogical practice of future psychology teachers. It is noted that the developed pedagogical conditions are aimed at the formation of each component of the methodological competence of future psychology teachers. It has been determined that the systemic implementation of the developed pedagogical conditions in the process of methodological training of masters in specialty 053 “Psychology” will ensure the effective formation of their integral methodological competence. Further research can be aimed at the development of pedagogical technologies for the formation of all investigated competence components and the definition of their formation criteria and indicators.
