The interrelation between the very low frequency characteristic of VLF variability of the teachers’ heart rate and the severity of the emotional burnout symptoms was studied. Authors have revealed a significant growth of the VLF indicator at the development of 6 symptoms (0,00015<p<0,05): “Driven into the cage” (III),”Inadequate emotional reaction” (V), “Emotional and moral disorientation” (VI), “Emotional detachment” (X), “Personal detachment” (XI) and “Psychosomatic and psycho-vegetative disorders” (XII). The results obtained support the idea of some authors that the VLF frequency indicator refl ects the psychoemotional tension.
