Abstract

Abstract Ceramic specimens of Li x Na1−x Ta y Nb1−y O3 (LNTN), where 0.02 ≤ x ≤ 0.17 and 0 ≤ y ≤ 0.55, have been synthesized to a density more than 97 percent of the theoretical one. Their dielectric properties have been measured as functions of temperature, frequency and composition. Measurements have been carried out in strong and weak fields and with constant bias voltage. Hysteresis loops have been investigated. The LNTN dielectric properties character is determined by the presence of morphotropic boundary, by translation invariance disturbance and by a change in the tendency to spontaneous polarization caused by a composition change.
