Abstract
Abstract This test was conducted within a commercial orchard comprised of 9-year-old trees. Single-tree plots were arranged in a complete randomized block design with 5 replications. Treated trees were separated within rows by at least one unsprayed tree and adult psylla were available to repopulate test plots. Treatments were applied on Jun 18 and Jul 24. Dilute sprays were applied to runoff with a handgun operated at a pump pressure of ca 300 psi. Pear psylla eggs and nymphs were counted with a stereo microscope from samples of 10 terminal shoot leaves/tree.
