Abstract
This paper mainly discusses the passivity and synchronization for a coupled neural networks with multi-weights (CNNMWs) by virtue of devised proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controllers. On one side, several passivity criteria for the CNNMWs are put forward on the basis of suitable Lyapunov functional, inequality techniques and devised proportional-derivative (PD) controller, and the output-strict passivity is employed to cope with the synchronization of the CNNMWs. On the other side, we also investigate the passivity of the CNNMWs by choosing appropriate proportional-integral (PI) controller, and a criterion of synchronization is developed for the CNNMWs. Lastly, the obtained criteria of passivity and synchronization are verified by adopting two numerical examples.
