Abstract

The peculiarity of the Lviv region as a tourist center has an impact on the formation of public buildings and directly on commercial establishments. A number of factors affecting the architecture and economic development of stores change every day. The study of trade establishments of small settlements opens up an opportunity for the creation of modern models of shops and markets characteristic of the Lviv region with subsequent implementation in real construction. The analysis and classification of commercial establishments in the Lviv region makes it possible to establish several types of buildings - according to the nature of the location in the urban structure of settlements, according to architectural and planning solutions, constructive qualities and marketing features. Large commercial establishments located on the outskirts of Lviv satisfy the needs of buyers and have a logical layout, are equipped with appropriate engineering equipment, parking spaces and entrances, stand out with a modern exterior devoid of individuality. Shops on the territory of the settlements practically do not meet the accepted principles from a constructive, stylistic and normative point of view. Most often, these are buildings erected in the previous century, which need renovation for further operation. In order to identify optimal options for the design and development of retail establishments, it is advisable to pay attention to local traditions in architecture and everyday life, at the same time as established patterns in consumer needs and favorable investment development. The study of trade establishments in the context of urban planning features and the needs of the population highlights clear directions for improving the rural environment not only for local residents, but also for tourists. The study of architectural and planning solutions of trade establishments of united territorial communities of the Lviv region is important: for the development of the region's economy; improvement of the cultural and household infrastructure of settlements in territorial communities; creating additional jobs and improving the quality of life in remote villages.
