Abstract
Today, Russia faces large-scale tasks to ensure further progressive socio-economic and socio-cultural development in the new conditions: transformation of the country, political, economic, and ethnic isolationism, cancellation culture, breaking global production chains, information warfare, etc. These conditions also form new approaches, mechanisms, attitudes, and values. Meanwhile, it is fundamentally important at the present stage to form and develop the patriotic values of young people as the foundation for the consolidation of Russian society, using the integration potential of patriotism to solve national problems. The article analyzes the patriotism of modern youth; based on a secondary analysis of sociological research materials and the results of author's research, the features of the attitude of young students of the Penza Region to the values of patriotism are considered.
