Abstract
Aim – to investigate pathomorphosis of neoplastic thyroid diseases in residents of Precarpathian endemic goiter region in 2000-2002 and 2010-2012 years. Materials and methods. The analysis of archive results of histopathological examinations of surgical specimens of 3251 patients operated on thyroid pathology in Lviv Regional Clinical Hospital and Military Medical Centre of West region in period from 2000 to 2002 (1377 cases) and from 2010 to 2012 (1874 cases) was performed. Results and discussion. In 2000-2002 the proportion of benign tumors decreased among the total number of patients operated on thyroid diseases compared to 2010-2012. Unlike thyroid benign tumor diseases, the proportion of malignant tumors among the total number of patients operated on thyroid diseases increased. Among the total number of patients operated on thyroid pathology there are cases (one third) when one patient suffers from the combination of several thyroid diseases: 29.2% in 2000-2002 and 23.8% in 2010-2012. Thyroid gland tumors are often combined with goiter and focal thyroiditis. Conclusions. Signs of pathomorphosis of neoplastic thyroid diseases were revealed among residents of Precarpathian endemic goiter region operated on thyroid pathology in 2000-2002 and 2010-2012.

Мета роботи – вивчення патоморфозу пухлин ЩЗ в Прикарпатському ендемічному регіоні зоба за 2000-2002 та 2010-2012 роки, тобто за ті ж роки, за які вивчався нами патоморфоз непухлинних захворювань ЩЗ [17]. Отриманих даних із результатами проведених раніше досліджень з вивчення патоморфозу тиреоїдної патології у Прикарпатському регіоні зоба, використовували номенклатуру новоутворів ЩЗ, розроблену на основі Міжнародної класифікації пухлин ендокринних органів ВООЗ 2017 року [19, 20]. За період з 2000 по 2002 роки серед 1377 прооперованих пацієнтів з приводу захворювань ЩЗ доброякісні пухлини ЩЗ становили 26±1,2% випадків. Частка пограничних пухлин з невизначеним потенціалом злоякісності за період з 2000-2002 років по 2010-2012 роки серед оперованих з тиреоїдною патологією зменшилась більше, ніж у два рази: з 7,3±2,6 до 3,1±2,3% випадків Частка гістологічних форм доброякісних пухлин серед загального числа оперованих з приводу тиреоїдної патології (у відсотках, P±p)
