Abstract

This study aims to delve into the impact of entrepreneurial patchwork on entrepreneurial performance and explain it through the moderating and mediating mechanisms of entrepreneurial passion and business model innovation. We thoroughly investigated the relationship between entrepreneurs' personal background, level of entrepreneurial patchwork, degree of entrepreneurial passion, business model innovation, and entrepreneurial performance using a 5-point Likert scale. The survey included entrepreneurs of different ages, genders, educational backgrounds, and entrepreneurial experiences. In the personal background information section, we collected information on participants' age, gender, educational background, and entrepreneurial experience. The survey on the level of entrepreneurial patchwork included ratings of innovativeness, adaptability, leadership, and risk tolerance. We also looked in depth at the entrepreneurs' motivations for starting a business, including factors such as financial independence, realizing a personal dream, and providing an innovative product or service. In the entrepreneurial experience section, we examined the entrepreneur's industry, the source of motivation for starting the business, and the challenges and achievements faced during the entrepreneurial process. Through these questions, we tracked the experiences of entrepreneurs in practice, providing a rich case background for subsequent analysis. For the scale design of the entrepreneurial patchwork, we used the criteria of a 5-point Likert scale to meticulously measure innovativeness, adaptability, leadership, and risk tolerance. In addition, by carefully investigating the relationship between entrepreneurial passion level, business model innovation, and entrepreneurial performance, we hope to gain a deep understanding of the interaction between these factors. Finally, the results of this study are expected to provide new theoretical perspectives and empirical evidence for research in the field of entrepreneurship. A deeper understanding of the impact of entrepreneurial patchwork on entrepreneurial performance and the mechanisms by which entrepreneurial passion and business model innovation play a role is of practical significance for entrepreneurs, academics, and policymakers.
