Abstract

Research Article| December 01 2017 Party Politics: Ideology and Musical Performance at Donald Trump’s Inaugural Celebration Dan Blim Dan Blim Dan Blim is assistant professor of music at Denison University. During 2017–18 he is a fellow at the University of Rochester Humanities Center, where he is developing a book project on music and memorialization. He has also published research on stage and screen adaptations in musical theater, political narratives in Harry Smith’s Anthology of American Folk Music, and Bernard Herrmann’s score to Alfred Hitchcock’s Vertigo.
