Research Article| October 01 2016 Lost in The Cradle: The Reconstruction and Meaning of Marc Blitzstein’s “FTP Plowed Under” (1937) Trudi Wright Trudi Wright Trudi Wright is an assistant professor in the Music Program at Regis University, a Jesuit institution in Denver, Colorado, where she explores American and European music history, musical theater history, and world music with her students. As an active musicologist, Wright has delivered papers based on her work in American musical theater at the national and regional conferences of the Society for American Music, American Musicological Society, and College Music Society. Her most recent article, “Pins and Needles (1937): Everything in Moderation,” appears in Studies in Musical Theatre.
