Abstract
In the article there are presented some results of manifestation of embryological peculiarities, including autocompatibility of some local and introduced apricot assortment within pedo-climatical conditions of the Republic of Moldova. Main important characteristics there are formation of Polygonum type of embryo sac, relatively high level of pollen germinability, high „chilling units” for optimal development of whole reproductive system, correspondence of flowering period of many important introduced varieties with local ones, autocompatibility etc.
