Abstract
RELIEU Marc - Talking while walking. Toward a dynamic ecology of talk-in-interaction. Conversation Analysis points to the temporal organization of talking-interaction, a forgotten dimension of social theory. Used with video, CA throws a new light on the spatial embeddness of talk. This paper offers a detailed video analysis of a spate of talk produced while walking. Building turns at talk while walking involves a reflexive analysis of visual information. Spatial positions, visual orientations and turn constructional units reflexively elaborate each other.
