Through its subsidiary banks, Co. is engaged in the commercial banking and trust business, primarily conducted in small and medium population Ohio communities. Co.'s subsidiaries are engaged in the acceptance of deposits for demand, savings and time accounts; commercial, industrial, consumer and real estate lending, including installment loans, credit cards, home equity lines of credit and commercial and auto leasing; trust services; cash management; safe deposit operations; electronic funds transfers; Internet banking; and other banking‐related services. At Dec 31 2007, Co. had total assets of $6.50 billion and total deposits of $4.44 billion.
