Abstract
The Birth & Beyond team is a dedicated group of Specialist Parent Education Midwives at The Royal Surrey Hospital who provide free and paid-for NHS parent education. The service was founded by Claire Barraud and Kate Conway as part of an incoming generating project. In part two we focused on the antenatal classes and courses offered. This article focuses on the postnatal preparation and classes offered by the Birth & Beyond team based on our five pillars of approach: Supporting parental and infant mental wellbeing Inclusivity Offering community Maintaining continuity of information and facilitation Ensuring a continuum of information throughout the pregnancy journey to early parenthood
