Abstract

A parametric study of the stress state of a rectangular cross-section beam with round holes in pure bending is performed by the finite element method implemented in the ANSYS Mechanical APDL software package. Correction coefficients were obtained for normal stresses determined by strength of materials methods. The coefficients of stress concentration during bending were determined depending on the size of the holes, as well as the distance between them. The research results obtained can be used in practical problems of designing perforated beams.
