Abstract
A unified procedure for measuring unsteady heat fluxes based on one-dimensional receivers is proposed. A digital Kalman filter algorithm is used to obtain optimum estimates. The results of investigations of heat meters, the operating principle of which is based on the thin-disc method, are presented.
