Selection of Sampling Rate for Digital Noise Filtering Algorithms

Abstract

The efficiency of the application of digital noise filtering algorithms depends on the selection of the sampling rate for analog-to-digital conversion, as well as on the type and parameters of the filtering algorithms. In the article recommendations on selection a sampling rate for three digital filtering algorithms (median filtering, simple moving average and exponential moving average) obtained with simulation for various types of noises are presented.
