Abstract
By means of molecular dynamics simulation, the parameters of atomic replacements in displacement cascades (cascade mixing) have been obtained for Fe-9%Cr and Cr-10%Fe alloys and in pure α-Fe. We have considered the threshold energy of atomic replacement and modified a function recently proposed in the literature for calculating the number of atomic replacements in a cascade. The parameters of atomic displacements and replacements have been evaluated for several neutron spectra of fission reactors and the future DEMO fusion reactor. These parameters are intended for use in models of radiation-accelerated precipitation of chromium in FeCr alloys under irradiation, which take into account the flux effect.
