Abstract

A parameter estimation is presented of a distributed hydrological model in a basin which has multiple water level stations. A problem is placed that the fittings are not always satisfactory in the cases where the discharge of one water level station is calculated based on the parameter values which are optimized to another water level station. A solution is demonstrated to calculate the discharges based on the parameter values selected from the results of multi-objective optimization where the errors at the water level stations are minimized simultaneously. Good performance is illustrated in two implementations of NSGA2 in Colleo optimization software.
