Abstract

Along with high penetration of renewable energy generation systems into utility, the identification of unknown controller parameters of electronic power converters is important for the fast simulation, stability analysis and new control strategy design of power system. This paper presents a method to identify the controller’s parameters of inverters for photovoltaic generation systems (PVs) based on damped least square (L-M) method. By the proposed method, firstly, the inverter model for PVs is established in Simulink for identification algorithm validation. Secondly, the identifiability and sensitivity of controller’s parameters are analyzed through the established PVs’ inverter model. Finally, the transfer function model of controller can be obtained through the proposed identification method, thus the controller parameters are obtained at the same time. And the comparison between actual model parameters and identification parameters of PVs’ inverter shows the feasibility and accuracy of the proposed method.
