Abstract

A parallel data acquisition system has been developed for the study of electron impact ionization of atoms and molecules. The system has a large data storage capacity providing good experimental resolution and system flexibility. The system is used to collect and analyze data from electron momentum spectroscopy experiment. Results from electron momentum spectroscopy experiments on C 4H 10 molecules, at an incident energy of 1200 eV, are presented to demonstrate the performance of the system.
