Abstract
On Tuesday, April 22, in the Washington Hilton Ballroom, a special panel sponsored jointly by the National Telemetering Conference, Marine Technology Society, and AGU will discuss the present and future applications (emphasizing the potentials) of telemetry in exploring the earth and its environment in space. Presentations by the panelists will be followed by a discussion period including audience participation. Gordon J. F. MacDonald, the Vice Chancellor for Research and Graduate Affairs of the University of California at Santa Barbara, will act as moderator of the group. William T. Pecora, Director, U.S. Geological Survey, will represent AGU and will present a paper on earth resources.
