Abstract

This paper describes a patient with "pancreatic cholera" in whom the watery diarrhoea, hypokalæmic acidosis, and low gastric acid secretion have been shown to be associated with a non-beta islet-cell tumour of the pancreas producing the enterogastrone, gastric inhibitory polypeptide.
