Palladium Mediated Selective Cleavage of Benzyl and Allyl Phosphates: A Convenient Non‐Hydrogenolytic Method for the Synthesis of Phosphates and Phospholipids.

Abstract

Allyl and benzyl phosphates can be cleaved selectively using catalytic amounts of Pd/C, Pd(OH)2 and Pd(OH)2 alone, in the absence of hydrogen, respectively.This is of of immense utility during the synthesis of phospholipids and other organophosphates.
