Abstract
ABSTRACT Rearrangement of linalyl acetate with PdCl2(PhCN)2 gave geranyl acetate as a main product(E:Z=86:14). A solution of linalyl acetoacetate in tetrahydrofuran was stirred at room temperature in the presence of Pd (PPh3)4 to give geranylacetone, E: Z = 93:7.
