Abstract

Introduction and aim Our evaluation is related with the current state of psychiatric diseases and the associated parameters with social impact. Method A sample of 219 patients has been studied during past 2 years. Statistic analysis is based on z-criterion as well as X2-test. P values of 0.05 were considered to be statistically significant. Results The average number of patient is 35 years old, 57,53% male,42,47% female.The majority of patients with depression or psychotic syndrom are women. 55, 56% of patients are single 32, 22% married and only 6% are divorced. 41, 04% of the patients have University education, 38% high school education. Conversely, 48% of the patients with depression have university education. In our research only 20, 75% of the psychiatric diseases have hereditary predisposition. Nevertheless the rate for depression is higher (37, 84) than the general result Psychiatric diseases results: The most common psychiatric disease is depression with 36%, stress and anxiety with 15%, 13% psychotic syndrome. The next is phobia, with 8%, substance abuse with 5%. Schizophrenia has only 2% of the patients. Moreover 10% of the patients were diagnosed with 2 psychiatric diseases.70%of the widowers have suffered from depression. Therapeutic interventions to patients were made using psychotherapy, medication or both. The analogy of psychotherapy to medication is almost 1:2 Conclusions The most patients, who have come for therapy to our association, were diagnosed with depression. Also female sex, hereditary predisposition, higher education and widowhood are significant factors for depression,in comparison other psychiatric diseases.
