Abstract

Previous neuroimaging studies have found increased perfusion in individuals with a psychotic spectrum disorder (PSD), particularly in the hippocampus. In this study, we used a novel three compartment intravoxel incoherent motion free water imaging (IVIM-FWI) technique to capture brain perfusion and free water pathologies in PSD in the hippocampus and hippocampal subfields. We additionally investigated the relationship between IVIM-FWI metrics and working memory and learning.
