Abstract

There is little research that examines changes in social cognition with pregnancy and postpartum. This domain of cognition is particularly important as it may be related to maternal caregiving behaviors and the ability to interpret the infant’s mental states and anticipate their needs. The current study aimed to explore social cognitive performance in women during prenatal and postpartum periods.
