Abstract

Radiofrequency (RF) pulmonary vein (PV) isolation is rapidly becoming an effective treatment for atrial fibrillation. Due to the large diameter and variable anatomy of human pulmonary veins the procedure is challenging and time consuming with currently available ablation catheters.
