Abstract

Elexacaftor/tezacaftor/ivacaftor (ETI) triple combination therapy has been reported to positively affect nutritional status in people with cystic fibrosis (pwCF). Besides the increase in weight, data on body composition alterations related to CFTR modulator therapy are scarce. Bioelectrical impedance analysis (BIA) has been shown fairly estimate body composition in various patient populations. We aimed to compare BIA results in children with CF at initiation and at one year of treatment.
