Abstract

Eosinophilic gastritis (EG) and eosinophilic enteritis (EE) are chronic diseases characterized by persistent gastrointestinal (GI) symptoms and elevated eosinophils in GI biopsies. Diagnosis is often delayed due to a low clinical suspicion for EG/EE. Here we utilize a large claims database to characterize the real-world diagnosis of EG/EE.
