Abstract
Provided is a network method for enhanced P2P multimedia transmission. The method according to the present invention comprises the steps of: dividing a large-capacity video content to be transmitted into equal-sized scenes; transmitting, by a user computer in a user group, a request to a tracer server for watching the video content; transmitting, by a tracker server, a list of video content servers and collaborative user computers; participating, by the user computer, in a reception user group by referring to the collaborative user computer list; and receiving, by the user computer, the scene from the computer in the reception user group. The user obtains transmission efficiency through sharing. In particular, each user computer is grouped such that the computer of the preceding group shares multimedia content with the user computer of the following group.
