Abstract

AbstractProperties of both amorphous and polycrystal films of azodye AD‐1 have been investigated. The films' structure depends on conditions of thermal treatment, light polarization and intensity. High dichroic ratio (>20) has been obtained. Film structure control allows fabrication of good photoaligning coatings.
