Abstract

The effects of photon self‐absorption and recycling on the efficiency of light generation and out‐coupling in perovskite light emitting diodes are assessed using a novel detailed‐balance compatible dipole emission model coupled to a full‐fledged drift‐diffusion simulation of charge transport in complex device stacks. This enables an in‐depth analysis of the impact on device performance of both, the optical modes and the electrical stack configuration.
