Abstract
Applying QDs on flexible and stretchable media is a challenging issue, and efficient fabrication methods are required. Here, we report a selective coating method controlling the density of QDs on polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS) substrate via simple surface treatment. By using ligand exchange reaction between carboxyl acid group in oleic acid and sulfonic acid in poly(4‐styrene sulfonic acid) (PSS), we obtained QDs coated PDMS substrate with high selectivity. Moreover, the thickness of PSS showed proportionality to the density of QDs which is directly related to photoluminescence. In this sense, by adjusting the pattern and the thickness of PSS, the density of QDs on the PDMS substrate can be controlled with high selectivity.
