Abstract

In order to make VR technology better serve the myopic population, the realization and application of object distance adjustment and location technology in VR are discussed in this paper. And, a new type of VR display device with auto zoom function is designed, which uses "Double lens + 2.1 inch screen". The display image distances can be adjusted by changing the different positions of lens2, which can be used for myopia compatibility of users. The moving resolution of Lens2 is 1μm and the adjustable period is 16.08‐25.73 s. In each cycle, the images changes from clear to blurred, and to clear. It can help exercise the users’ ciliary muscles. Finally, Through calibration, the device can be used to measure user's vision. The visions of 20 people were measured, and then that were compared with the results measured by the eye chart. The proportion of difference less than 0.1 is 90%, which indicates that it is feasible to measure vision by using object distance adjustment and location technology.
