Abstract
Detailed cost modeling confirmed that organic TFTs have higher costs than a‐Si arrays in low volume; however, in mass production material costs fall to comparable levels. On fully depreciated assets, organic TFT costs will be 20% lower. This creates an opportunity for organic TFTs to gain share in the growing flexible display market.
